This is not very new product but I think most of you didn't seen and it is modern type of bayonet mostly oriented as combat knife and bayonet attachment is mostly as way to be accepted officially , there are lot of polemics about it and design on Russian forums but that is not important here so I'll try to post all photos I have to be detailed presented...
Before I start must say that it is interesting in this case that combat knife was indexed as 6x9 and bayonet as 6x9-1 so it says something....

Forgot to tell that these are made by KAMPO
6x9-1 Bayonet

6x9 Knife

Now just some random comparing photos of both products to see difference...

You can see on first photo it has written ŠN-2 for "štik-nož = bayonet-knife" and some scabbard details

to be continued...

Beautiful knife/bayonet. Are they made to fit the AK74?
(Edit - I see they are: http://kampo.ru/content/shtyk-nozh-shn-2 )

So here are the manufacturers, but of course they are not available to civilians like us. :bang:
http://www.kampo.ru/produciya/nozhi-specialnye

I wonder if they will export, and what quantities they require?
Here's discussion on the Russian forums, which I have no idea of what they are saying :-)

Yes there it is I'll told you just Mak was not satisfied with design etc ... it was interested in beginning but become boring topic... In russia are all army knives illegal for civilians that's why most forums sales are deactivated knife old kind with blade cutting and newer with weakened blades.. I don't know how one of my bayonets sold on ebay passed their customs because second was returned with complete photos on paper and text on papers from their customs.. It is possible to get rare stuff but usually from people who can transfer it from Finland and send it from there... Some Melita K and others are just on the way :D

What is the story with Andrey Mak? He has the most impressive collection I have ever seen, some of the rarest stuff anywhere..a lot of it just unavailable anywhere. He must be well connected?

A lot of the Russian stuff comes out with long distance truck drivers. Not too difficult I hear. Just have to find them first.

Yes he has many connections but also it is possible to find many real things in Russia if you find right people , his collection is amazing and there is lot of years and time spent on that also he has behind him nice number of written books, based on facts not on "I suppose so" and I respect that.
He is wide range collector not only based on bayonets but all kind of knives.

We seem to have lost the pictures of the "Ratnik" 6X9 bayonets. Here are some borrowed pictures of the Kampo made version. Mike

You are correct. The last 3 pictures are of a replica. The bayonet is all one piece with flexible blade. Scabbard is also one piece, the wire cutter is molded to the scabbard. They are advertised as follows: "Airsoft Ratnik Knife 6x9 with Sheath Russian Army Training Knife Replica". Goes well with my 6X4 and 6X5 "training" bayonets!? Probably as close to owning a real one as I'll ever get. Mike

New to my collection is this 6x9-1 bayonet. Complete with all accessories.
I really like this bayonet with its new features. Glass breaking triangle protuding beneath the pommel and the scabbard with build in wire cutter.
Rubbery grip adds for a very comfortable feel when handling.
The bayonet is overall of very high quality.
This piece is marked “MAKET” meaning “the model”. Intended for museum showcase and therefore no military grau numbers present.

Added this one for my collection too. The KAMPO civillian “compat knife”
Its currently on sale at EBAY. I bought it because of its very close resemblance to the 6x9-1 bayonet. They share a few features. Quality is nice and high just like the bayonet. It comes complete with all accessories, paper work and manual.
